Practical information for visitors

• No registration needed

  You do not need to be a resident, have a Brazilian tax number or bring a referral.

• Payment

  Credit and debit cards, PIX and cash. Instalments available for larger treatments.

• Travel insurance

  We issue a detailed report and receipt describing every procedure, in the format insurers usually require for reimbursement. Check with your provider which documents they need.

• Records to take home

  You leave with digital X-rays and a written report so your dentist at home can continue treatment without repeating exams.

• Opening hours

  Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm; Saturday, 8am to 1pm. Emergency care outside these hours — message us on WhatsApp.

Two locations — choose the right side of the river

Porto Seguro and Arraial d'Ajuda are separated by a river crossed by a car ferry. In high season the crossing can take over an hour, so pick the clinic on the side where you are staying.

Before you come: what to do right now

For severe pain, take the painkiller you normally tolerate and keep your head elevated, including when sleeping. Do not apply heat to your face, and never place a crushed tablet against the gum — it burns the tissue.

For a knocked-out permanent tooth, handle it by the crown, never the root. Rinse briefly in milk or saline without scrubbing, and either place it back in the socket or transport it in milk. Reimplantation within the first hour has a genuine chance of success.

For facial swelling with fever or difficulty swallowing or breathing, seek immediate care — this is an emergency, not something to postpone until tomorrow.
